Sinai, Egypt, a 90 percent chance that the voice is heard at the last
second in the black box is an explosion caused by a bomb.A member of the accident investigation team suggests that the news agency Reuters, Sunday (08/11/2015).
Airbus A321 operated by Russian airline, Metrojet, crashed 23 minutes after takeoff from the tourist resort of Sharm al-Sheikh in Egypt eight days ago on a flight to St Petersburg. The accident killed all 224 passengers and crew.
The militant group Islamic State or ISIS that is at war with the Egyptian security forces in Sinai said they were dropping the plane. However, the group did not explain in how they do it.
"Indications and analysis so far above the noise in the black box showed that it was a bomb," said the Egyptian investigative team member, who asked not to be named because of the sensitivity of the issue. "We are 90 percent sure that it was a bomb."
His comments reflect a higher level of certainty about the causes of accidents rather than who has stated publicly by the committee of inquiry.
The leader of the accident investigation, namely Ayman al-Muqaddam, announced on Saturday that it appears to have been ill-fated plane broke up in the air while being flown to the auto-pilot system. He also added that at the last second audible sound recordings in the cockpit. However, he said it was too early to draw conclusions about why the plane went down.
