Saturday, to demonstrate solidarity with the victims of the terror
attacks of the extremists, to condemn violence in the name of religion
and shouted "we are not enemies".
"The message was clear, terrorism can not continue to attack anywhere on behalf of Muslims. We want the whole world to hear," said Abdellah Redouane,head of the Islamic Cultural Center in Rome, during a demonstration in the Italian capital.
The banners read "Koran against violence", "Islam is peace", and "Solidarity for the victims of Paris", brought the members of the Muslim community who gathered in the rain at a square in Rome under heavy police guard.
